Despite approximately seven (7) weeks of U.S. bombing, Islamic State or ISIS/ISIL forces have made territorial gains in both Syria and Iraq.
After several days of seizing a number of communities outside of Kobani, Islamic State terrorists now surround this Syrian city as Kurdish Peshmerga seek to halt their advance. Tens of thousands of civilians have fled for their lives.
